The Four Seasons - A Stacking Set of Blocks by Janod

The Four Seasons are beautifully illustrated by the French designers of Janod on these cardboard blocks.  Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter -  all the season are depicted on the 5 sides of each block.  From the weather to the animals to the plants - what does each season mean for these parts of nature?  The blocks are made of a sturdy carboard with a glossy finish.  There are 10 blocks in total and they nest perfectly inside each other.  The largest is alittle over 5" x 5" and the smallest is a 1.5" cube - the smallest one is a cube as it doesn't need an open side for nesting.  They all fit perfectly in a cardboard box for safe keeping and a nylon strap on top makes it easy to tote around.

The blocks are graduated in size, so when stacked up on top each other - it forms a tall pyramid.  But there is so much more your kids can do with this block set.  They can stack them, line them up, build a structure, see what balances, they can name the seasons, they can tell a story about the pictures, they can sort them by the scenes, and so much more.  I love what beautiful illustrations are on these blocks - they great stakced up tall on the toy room shelf.
