Shape it up!

The Green Toys My First Shape Sorter is a new twist of the classic toy design - putting shapes into the correct slots. The baby toy comes packaged in minimal packaging that is made from recycled materials and printed with soy ink - so be sure to recycle the box to keep the circle flowing. What also stands out on the packaging is MADE IN THE USA. Keeping jobs in the United States is great and more and more of us are looking for toys that are not made in China. This toy checks all the right boxes and we are proud to carry their products.
The sorter is green on one side and blue on the other. The 2 halves come apart to reveal the various shapes located in a net bag. The main piece is about 8" in diameter and 5" tall. The shapes are about 1.5" - give or take. There are 4 shaped openings on each side or half - a circle, a triangle, a star and a square. The shapes inside are various colors and there are 2 of each shape making a total of 8. They shapes are not solid on the inside which makes them easier to grips and lighter weight. The shapes slip into the openings easily - less frustration for your child. The rattling noise that it makes with it is rolled around on the floor or shaken is also a source of delight for babies. The 2 halves come apart easily to empty the shapes back out. This simple little toy helps alot with your baby's development: helps develop recognition of shapes and colors, encourages eye-hand coordination, problem solving, and fine and gross motor skill development. All in all - it is a great little toy, with a great story at a great value.
We love Green Toys as a company for what they are all about. They take plastic milk jugs and recycle them into their raw materials from which they make their products. This saves energy and reduces greenhouse gas emissions - which is a good thing!
