Preschoolers Drawing Shapes & Objects

Preschoolers are now mastering their fine motors skills and this can be seen in their drawing and coloring skills. Where toddlers held crayons in an awkward grip and just scribbled on the paper, Preschoolers are gripping crayons, pencils and markers much better and are starting to color within the lines or drawing their own shapes and objects. They can copy simple shapes and match an object to pictures. They are starting to see what is the same and what is different between objects.
A great crayon for your budding artists is the GRIP Erasable crayons by Faber-Castell. The ergonomic triangle design features GRIP dots which makes it easy for small fingers to hold and to master a proper grip.
