Paint - Let's Color!

Kids love to paint!  There is no right or wrong way to do art - their creative licenses go a long way.  Kids have fun experimenting and parents love to display the masterpieces around the house.  If you don't have paint in the house, here is a recipe for finger paints so you don't need to make a trip to the store.

Homemade Finger Paints

Items Needed:

• 2 Tbsp sugar
• 1/3 cup cornstarch
• 2 cups cold water
• 1/4 clear liquid dish soap
• food coloring

Directions:

• mix sugar and cornstarch in small pot
• slowly add water
• cook on low, stirring constantly, until mixture is almost clear
• cool the mixture
• add dish soap and stir together
• divided into smaller containers and add food coloring to make the colors you want
