Lets Get Messy - Kids Finger Painting!

When my kids were young, finger painting was a favorite activity of theirs.  We set up a "messy" area in the basement where we would let the kids paint away.  My husband's old shirts doubled as artist smocks or they were more like maxi-dresses on them as they went right down to the floor.  I don't know if they enjoyed sticking their fingers in the paint or painting a picture more - but either way - they loved it and  I got lots of art work to display around the house.
