A Simple Wooden Clothes Pin - Oh the Crafts We Can Make!
Posted by The Folks at Cow & Lizard! on Aug 7th 2015
Did you have an outdoor clothes line when you were growing up? Or perhaps you have one now. We had an outdoor clothes line when I was young only because we didn't have a dryer. It wasn't a chore I enjoyed as a kid. My fingers would get so cold hanging the clothes when it wasn't summer. The clothes would freeze dry stiff and then we had to bring them in. Now as an adult, we recently moved out to the country and I am going to put up a clothes line. I want that fresh air smell on our sheets, I want to save on electricity and our bedding gets so balled up in our dryer, that it takes me forever to keep stopping the dryer to un-ball the sheets. What a pain!
But there are many uses to the simple wooden clothes pin. Kids can have a blast making animals, bag clips, dolls, pin wheels, airplanes and more. Glue, markers, paint and your odds 'n ends craft supplies is all you need to keep your kids busy creating their masterpieces. Check out our Pinterest board for some ideas
